In our lesson today we were told to decide who was going to manage the three main elements, Cinematography, Editing and Mise-en-scene. I am in a group of three with Ella and Esther and we all decided straight away, with no problem who was going to do what. I am doing Mise-en-scene, Ella is doing Editing and Esther is doing the cinematography.
We have decide on our song, which is 'What would you do' by Bastille. From now deciding this we were able to decide on rough ideas for locations and actors/actresses. For locations we were thinking of going to Cambridge at night and gathering shots down dark alleyways, we want to manipulate the use of light in these shots to make the girl seem vulnerable. We thought of filming near a club because then we would be able to relate it to the lyrics.
